2023 Educator of the YearOwner & Founder of Modern Hairitage, INC Celebrity Colorist, Moroccanoil Global Color Ambassador. - A native of Cleveland, Ohio Greg began his career in the hair industry at the early age of 15 assisting in local Cleveland salons as a shampoo assistant. After graduating from cosmetology school in 2004, Greg spent countless hours studying the art of haircutting and coloring earning him a place on Blow Magazine’s list of Top 50 Hairstylist in Cleveland. After relocating to Los Angeles, CA, Greg dedicated himself to excellence in education studying with world-renowned Paul Mitchell, L’Oréal, and Vidal Sassoon Academies, studying in London, Toronto, New York City, and Los Angeles.He acquired 10 diplomas in advanced coloring with a focus on blonding, cutting, and education, which has made him one of the top haircutting and coloring experts for textured hair.
Jessica Cruel
2023 Beauty Editor of the YearJessica Cruel, Editor in Chief, Allure Jessica Cruel is the editor-in-chief of Allure, where she leads the development of multi-platform editorial content for digital, social, and video platforms, including the Readers' Choice Awards and Best of Beauty Awards franchises. Cruel joined Allure in 2019, first as features director and, more recently, served as the title’s content director. In 2021, Cruel spearheaded The Melanin Edit, a new Allure platform exploring all things relating to Black beauty, skincare and wellness. Prior to joining Allure, Jessica served as deputy beauty director at Refinery29, and has also held editorial roles at SELF and Popsugar.She has extended her experience to hosting podcasts, speaking at events and appearing in live television segments. A graduate of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with degrees in multimedia journalism and sociology.

2023 Editorial Hairstylist of the YearInternational hairstylist Jawara is one of the most sought-after names in fashion. The Senior Beauty Editor-at-Large of i-D Magazine has a number of notable accolades, including a British Fashion Council New Wave Creatives Award as well as Business of Fashion 500 and Dazed 100 rankings. Jawara first started his career as a salon assistant in Brooklyn when he was just 16. After graduating from the Fashion Institute of Technology and the Aveda Institute, Jawara moved to London and began assisting industry legends Guido Palau and Luigi Murenu on runway shows and shoots. After being mentored by icon Sam McKnight that Jawara reached the level of artistry at which he works today. Then he began working independently. His extensive knowledge and range of work soon garnered the attention of many influential names, including musical talents Beyonce, Cardi B, FKA Twigs, Bella Hadid, and Solange.
Cesar Deleon Ramirez
2023 Advocacy Artist of the YearCELEBRITY STYLES, CREATIVE DIRECTOR, INFLUENCER Cesar DeLeon Ramirez is a highly respected and innovative celebrity hairstylist who has made a significant impact in the world of fashion and beauty. He has established himself as a leading authority in hair design, regularly collaborating with some of the biggest names in fashion, entertainment, and art. As a mentor and educator, Ramirez has also helped to inspire and train the next generation of hairstylists all while using his influential social voice to advocate for veganism and anti-bullying.

The Texture Style Awards “Stylist of the Year” 2023 was chosen in round 1 of TSA judging by a distinguished panel of judges. The winner had the highest scored entries and the most submissions across multiple categories, reflecting both quality and versatility in their work.
Jordan Crenshaw
Jordan Crenshaw is a licensed cosmetologist and professional makeup artist based in Dallas, TX, with a special passion for styling all hair types and textures. Her journey began at Paul Mitchell The School Dallas, leading her to become the owner and founder of JCREN’S HIGH MAINTENANCE at Trinity Hair Salon.
With seven years of experience, Jordan’s specialties include natural and mixed textured hair, braiding, loc’s, men’s and women’s haircutting, hairstyling, and makeup application. Her well-rounded career has seen her as a Lead Artist for wedding companies, assistant makeup artist on the set of “1883,” hairstyling for specialty and private events, an Instructor at The 2023 World Natural Hair Show by Taliah Wajiid in Atlanta, and on-set stylist for production companies. Her hard work and dedication earned her recognition as a 2021 Finalist and the 2023 Stylist of the Year in the Texture Style Awards, where she was selected for having the highest amount of entries across multiple categories.
In addition to her professional success, Jordan is a single mother of two, managing to provide for her children while ardently pursuing her passion. Her freelance work with Glam Haus Collective and Grand Slam Glam further exemplifies her dedication and excellence in the field. Truly a force to be reckoned with, Jordan Crenshaw stands as an inspiring figure in the hairstyling and makeup industry.
